Default Good Collections, Chitra

Dear Chitra,

Nice proverbs this time too all starting with எ. There is one more proverb that I often use at home which starts with எ. Its

"Ellu ennaiku kaayarthu, Eli puzhukai ethuku kaayarthu ?". This proverb came to my mind after reading ur post.

I really enjoyed proverb 20.

16 is one thing everyone should bear in mind when talking ill or bad of other or harsh words that wounds our heart.

3 and 19 is meant for all the saamarthyasaali's ? rite ?

Though I didn't clearly understand in what context proverb 5 and 8 is used ?!!

Love,
Preethi

Default My dear Preethi !

I thankyou for the prompt "போணி", my young friend !
You write that no: 16 should be followed by everybody - but for some " select few" it seems to be becoming "தண்ணி பாட்ட பாடு " . Who is interested in remembering that their words reflect their mind ? God bless them !! No lip-service for me, my wishes come from the heart !!
5 - do not add fuel to the fire, if you want decrease it.Rather, who is the best among a group of wicked people ?
8 - I have given it - though surrounded by so many, not one suits you.
Thanks again, Preethi !
Love,
Chithra.

என்றைக்கும் போடாத லட்சுமி இன்றும் போடவில்லை
தினம் போடுகிற தேவடியாளுக்கு இன்றைக்கு என்ன கேடு வந்தது ?

I am sorry for the bad word, but in a traditional pazamozi, I do not want to incorporate any change.

Default My dearest Seena !

In spite of not knowing tamil, you dutifully come to my thread & read it - how do I ever thank you enough, Seena ?
However old the buffalo is, it still fetches money. The same way, however old a Son in law is, he still commands respect !
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Chitra,

Another good set of proverbs. 1 is very funny. 2 and 16 are very true.
10 is informative. is it true? i didn't hear that before.

I tried to type in tamil, but really it is difficult to type fast. i have to search for the letters, so it takes much time to type a single sentence. i have to practise typing in tamil, then i will write in tamil.

regards,
kodi.
