AIDS Spreads Like This Also..... Please Read!
A 10 year old boy, had eaten pineapple about 15 days back, and fell
sick,from the day he had eaten. Later when he had his Health check done...
doctors diagnosed that he had AIDS.

His parents couldn't believe it...Then the entire family under went a
Checkup... none of them suffered from Aids. So the doctors checked again
with the boy if he had eaten out...The boy said 'yes'. He had pineapple that
evening. Immediately a group from Mallya hospital went to the pineapple
vendor to check.

They found the pineapple seller had a cut on his finger while cutting the
pineapple; his blood had spread into the fruit.

When they had his blood checked...the guy was suffering from AIDS.....
but he himself was NOT aware. Unfortunately the boy is suffering from it now.

Please take care while you eat on the road side (particularly tasty wada pav
& Paani Puri) and please forward this mail to all your dear one

I have seen people so found of roadside food.. that they are ready to let go the basic hygiene...

Teach kids about his at the early stage, so they understand what they are longing to eat - Germ infested food. you can also encourage them to go to a near by bakery or cafe to have whatever they can from the pocket money and just avoid the roadside ones.

But again... even that is not safer.. US people might have known I guess. there is a famous juice chain.. called jamba juice.. Couple of months back.. few stores had to be closed in California, because the staffers who makes the juice and serves it to the customers were suffering from Hepatitis A and they WERE NOT WEARING any protective gloves (which everyone were supposed to be wearing) and they were walking to and back from restroom with no cleaning whatsoever...

Yes Aids wont spread like that .. Even if the Pineapple seller had aids and he had a cut in his finger , it wont spread aids , Aids germs cant stay outside the human body alive.And So once finger is cut within fraction of second the germs dies automatically.
Thus its not possible at all for spreading of Aids in this manner.

this massage was also in this forum few days back & i wud like to repeat the answer just to make more people aware of the facts & I being a physcian & treating even pts. having AIDS & HIV postive people I am talking with facts of medical scienece behind my statemenI

The points are

1 It takes average 2- 6 wks for the test to become positive even after contact with a person suffering from AIDS .The usual window period is 6 wks & more.
So in fifteen days child becoming infected having symptoms & tested for hiv it seems farfatched.
2 The known route of transmissions are sexuxal route ,blood or blod product route via injections .
Mother to child tranmission during birth
& via breast milk to baby.
"HIV has been found at low concentrations in the saliva, tears and urine of infected individuals, but there are no recorded cases of infection by these secretions and the potential risk of transmission is negligible "( Quote)
3 In these 2 to 6 wks duration there are no sympytoms or complaints by the sufferer. This is usually followed by a latency period of 2 wks to 20 years when pt is not aware that he /she is HIV positive & the disease aspect starts after this when we lebel a person suffering from AIDs.
Even if the child was suffering from some c/o the normal pathological tests doesnot include HIV testing untill a person is going for surgery or donating blood. Or is having all the symptoms of Chronic ( long running disease ) without a dignosis.
The more common diagnosis wud be TB ,Cancer ,Ch.Malaria & so on. Only when These common diseases are ruled out one go for HIV testing And so it takes moree than fifteen days.

If the child was having HIV infection it may have come via a infected injection ,a hair cut by infected razor at barber's shop long before the 15 days perod.
It looks like a medical thriller of Robin cook when medical perssonel ( in Our India ) reached to the infected vendor in 15 - 20 dyas time ( highly improbable)
Let me assure u that infectivity of HIV is rather low otherwise it wud have spread like 1919 flu in a pandemic fashion & wud have cleared half of the earth population. For a record its infectivity is lower than Hepatitis B.
