Default The Power Of Giving

I like to tell stories and here is one more. By the way this is also the first time I am inserting images.Hope it has come out ok.

There was an old rich man in a village He had no children and his wife was long dead. But he was miserly.

One day he went to the village elder and asked him why is it that no one is fond of me and no one respects me.They all know that when I die all my wealth will belong to the village.

The village elder in answer told him a story.

A farmer had a pig and a cow The pig turned to the cow and said people eat me,they make use of my skin and they even make pickles out of me. Then why is it that you are loved and revered whilst I am ridiculed.

The cow turned around and replied that is because I give when I am alive and you give after you are dead.

It is in giving that we receive.
