FRIDAY magazine published this article this week. This is about a global phenomenon which can never be cured.....I am posting here the gist of it.
Lorraine Chandler writes that like oil and water husbands and housework doesnt seem to go together. Yet you cant have one without the other.
Scientists have spend years to find out what makes men different from women.A recent survey in Britain shows that working women spend 23 hours a week for housework while men only 8 hours.Amusing to think how women would have managed to make them do that much household work .
Some husbands may find the time spend in kitchen dishing out wholesome meals a waste of time when you can get a take away meal in a jiffy. But most husbands feel dirt at home has to be ignored ,unless it involves his CD collection.Count your lucky stars if he helps you with the laudary and cooking. Most never even think about cleaning floors and toilets.Calls for helps may be replied with"i dont know where things are"!!!

AND if he has to be left alone with the children for a long time ,he might ask you with trepidation to clean up and get things ready before you leave.
The solution to this global problem is that either we women be less fussy or try brain washing. Never resort to nagging as it never works. And in the end lets hope ( forever) that one day he will spring out of bed and say" Wow look at the dirt!! i'll mop the floor before breakfast"
