Roll Back 25 Yrs

25 years back these terms meant...!
A program was ... a television show
An application was .. for employment
Windows were..... something u hated to clean
A cursor ... used profanity as in to curse.
A keyboard was ...a piano
Memory was..... something u lost with age
A CD was... a bank account
Compress was something u did to garbage
A hard drive was a long trip on a very rough road
Log on was adding wood to fire
A backup happened to your toilet
A mouse pad was where a mouse lived
Cut.. u did with scissors
Paste.. u did with glue
A web was a spiders home
A Monitor was some one who used to keep watch on classmates in absence of teacher or a Monitor was class (School's)representative
A Desktop was desk's top surface as in top of the table.
And a virus was the flu!!
... Times surely have changed HOW TRUE ISN'T IT..SUNKAN

there was more milna jhula that is meeting of people than what it is here, now my daughter says from top, mom food ready, or has someone come and so on, and i answer in net, sometime i wonder where we r leading too, sunkan

I agree... slowly we will lose our social skills...
But I love the technology too. It lets me chat with my mom and MIL in India, they can see their grandson crawling on the floor here... And it lets me chat with you sitting here ... 10000 miles away..
Now only if the scientists can perfect airplanes and make the flight trip to India in 2 or 3 hours!!! now that would be awesome...
