Recently I encountered a message board asking readers if they believe in love at first sight and asking them to share their experiences and advice in this regard. Here are some of the most amusing and insightful responses they received:

here i am brave enough to admit that i believe in Love at first sight. having gone through it twice in my life so far.
The first time, 8.15 am 10 years ago , when after a hard nights toil, i was handed my newborn son. Just one look at him and i fell hook , line and sinker in love. Wow i thought at that time, so this is what love at first sight feels like, and naively concluded that this was a one time thing . God had his own plans, the second time around, 6 years later, again after a long night, this time early morning, i feel in love at first sight with my second son. Even now, when i look at their baby pictures, i fall in love all over again......

i have experienced that twice too, my first born i had real tough with the entire night alone, yesterday while watching the father of the bride part 2 i thought how wonderful the husband diverts her fear to the first date that they had, a great feeling the man who is also the part for a baby is with u, but not in india, and the second child i gave birth in a government hospital and my mom was with me, till i went into the labour room and yes both were beauties i still behold in my mind as babies, and pictures are a great revival of thoughts...thanku for taking me through the trail again..sunkan

I had a love marriage against parents wishes. But when i first met him, i never knew that he will be my life partner.

I never knew I will marry this person when I got my husband's first email... He was my Email Friend.... I do not know about Love at First sight.... It never happened to me...

Scientists study our brain activity and say that it’s quiet possible but everyone is free to believe or not to believe.

For me well i have not experienced that...but love at first sight...twice with my kids....
