9 Easy Steps To A Pedicure

Before putting on those comfortable open toe shoes make sure your feet skin is in good condition. With these easy nine steps you too will have silky feet. So go ahead get ready to do your own pedicure.soak your feet for 10-15 minutes in warm water containing Epsom salt or foot soak

• Use a pumice stone, exfoliating scrub to gently scrub the soles of your all over your feet and heel to remove dead skin.
• Dry your feet.
• Trim your toenails and push back cuticles.
• Rinse feet once again and pat dry.
• Massage feet with plenty of foot lotion. Body lotion, petroleum jelly or cream can be use to replace foot lotion.
• Wrap feet on plastic bags and cover for at least 15 minutes.
• Paint toe nails.
• Make sure to apply at least to coats of nail polish and a top coat of clear nail polish to give it more shine.
• Give it enough time to dry, before putting on any shoes. If you put on shoes too soon your pedicure will get ruin.

normally i dont massage my feet , but rest of the things i do at home.
hereafter i should start doing it.

i find scholl's brush is too good in scrubbing than a pumice stone.
applying clear nail polish as the final coat is a great tip. learnt something useful by reading your post. thanks.

this is the entire pedicure set which i use often. the long one with white handle is scholl brush which does a similar job of a pumice stone. you can find this in any big fancy/cosmetic/departmental store.

Thanks for the easy steps to have a good looking feet. Once in how many days do we need to do this? Is it ok to do this to 12-13 year old kids? My friends kids are coming here for summer break and so was planning to do this, as they will be excited to get these things done which is usually not done by their moms.

Can you also post easy and quick steps for manicure?

This can be made even easier if you do just these small steps every day,while you bathe.
Apply soap to the soles of your feet.
Use a pumice stone to rub well.
Rinse the feet.
After you towel urself dry,apply vaseline petroleum jelly to the feet & lightly massage for a minute. Never apply too much of it cause it can make ur feet very slippery.
I have the habit if using slippers at home,so it works out well for me.
I do this whenever i take a bath.

Thank you for the reply..
Better do pedicure twice in month. Regarding Kids, Pedicure is just to clean and keep the feet neat without any dirt and cracks. For Kids, Use pumice stone mildly. Even for massage give a milder one.

Give me time I'll post the steps for manicure.
