how to reduce foot smell?

hi
weaing socks from morning to evening makes my foot smell bad.
i change them for every 2 days.
can any one suggest how to reduce the smell

iam not clear in ur question..r u wearing shoes and going out? or simply wearing socks in house? if wearing shoes for long time when going out,bad smell will be there at shoes as well as in foot. i also had the same problem,but,i read an article in a tamil magazine that we can buy any perfumed talcum powder and sprinkle the powders (less expensive powders available in market,not for our face just for this) inside the shoes so that bad smell reduces in shoes as well as smell does not transfer to our foot..

Smelly feet are due to the feet sweating and also due to not enough air circulation in the shoe..or due to might be an improper fitting of shoe...

try having enough water to reduce teh sweat and as Puni mentioned put some foot powder in the shoes every day so that the sweat is absorbed...

also try this small tip...take luke warm water in a bucket and put some salt in it and soak your feet in it for atleast 15mins and use a tooth brush or a scrubber and slowly scrub your feet (dont over do it..just a slight scrub as if we are massaging)...and then put the feet in the cold water thourougly rinse and apply some moisturiser on to feet...do this atleast once in a week to start with and later on twice in a month..you would surely see good results...

by the way always use fresh pair of socks every day and wash your socks with a good aromatic detergent...

Wash and dry your feet everyday thoroughly
wear cotton socks
change socks everyday

and sprinkle a little sodium bicarbonate into your shoes, will absorb the odour.

you can also buy deodorants especially for feet in drug stores/pharmacies.
