Dear Kamalji,

Jaya's "Passs word mayhem" is a wonderful nomination. Just like most of us here, I could relate to it instantly. Jaya not only has her unique brand of humor but also has just as unique brand of topics that she writes on. They are so interesting to read and make me wonder how she thinks of them.

Thank you Kamalji for bringing this post to the FP!

Luv,
SS

Mods,
This is another nomination from mehttp:// After I am No More . A great piece by KM ji. What i like abt this post is great thoughts said so easily & in a simple manner. He is not bound by the conditions and rules of the society which i admire for it is not easy to be.
Ofcourse KM ji is synonymous with his down to earth humor.
Jaya

Dear Supriya,

What a wonderful assortment of nominations! Ecah one of them is so different from the other yet all of them such wonderful reads. That is the beauty of our writers in IL. Varied topics and each one written so well.

Jaya's "Passs word mayhem" is a humors take on something we can all relate to. I enjoyed it thoroughly and even learnt a few tips on managing my password mess a little bit better.

When I read Twinsmom's "We Are Like That Only" I again nodded in agreement about some of the observations she has made. I will say this thought that although ppl in the western countries (particularly the friendly US), smile at anyone that passes by, it does not always have the same feeling of someone extending you a hearfelt smile. It is a thing to be done and people do is just out of habit rather than out of the feeling of extending a genuine greeting to you.

Sowmyasridhar's "Oh! Working mothers...... " post was again too good! Something every working mom can relate to you (including me). Oh, those years of being sandwiched between the heart and the head are so taxing. Some days you are in control and some days you just cannot be no matter how hard you try. The emotions, the feeling of "I am doing the right thing" just take you over. But I must say, it is a challenge worthwhile in some ways.

Thanks Supriya for the lovely nominations.

Luv,
SS

PS

Dear Pushpa and Jaya,

thank u so much for nominating this post of mine.I like humor most of tthe times, and i like to make everyone smile with my writings, as it is we have so many of our own daily problems.

But even a clown is sensitive, even he cries at times. After all we are all human beings.

this is something i wanted to convey to Harsha, some things which cannot be said, but which can be written.

I beleiove after we are no more, it does not matter where our ashes go, whether pandits came to do poojas or not, nothign matters according to me.

I wrote as i felt, and as usual i did not make a copy, or edit, i write in under half an hour maximum and this too was as the thoughts flowed.

Thank u all for liking this piece, the true me.

thank u all once again,Regards

kamal

Dear Ranise,

A hearty welcome to the FP! I am seeing you here for the first time and I hope to see more of you here!

I must admit your debut nomination is a gem! Sowmya's "Oh! Working mothers......" was indeed a post that many of us working mother's here could relate to. She opened her heart out and we loved it!

SS
