Dear friends,

The winning post this month brought a lot of laughter and good humor into our day. Well, this is a person who has her unique brand of humor. It is the subtle and witty variety of humor that only rare breeds of people are endowed with.

We have all heard the adage “Grass is always green on the other side of the fence” but here is one person who declared that the grass is green in her home!

Of course, our winner this month is none other than Jaya (Jpatma) for her post -

The grass is green at my home

This rib-tickling post of hers brought some much charm and glamour to a common household topic like lawn and garden maintenance. All of us at some time or the other have been in her shoes frustrated about how things haven’t gone as per plan in spite of our sincere efforts. However, I don’t know how many of us have been able to see the humor in such a situation. I know that I haven’t always! This quality of looking for the lighter side in any situation is what makes Jaya an example to follow and to learn from. This side of hers is inspirational indeed!

Jaya, thank you for constantly showering us with these gems. Yours posts add the much needed color to our lives, which we all admit, does become quite blue sometimes. You keep the colors in our life bright and our mood upbeat.

Cannot ever thank you enough for that! There have been many times in the past where you have missed the FP win narrowly. We are glad and overjoyed to announce you the winner this time!

That was a wonderful, hilarious post. Especially when you talk of the male DNA which enables us get lost and yet not ask for directions and the female DNA that makes you guys constantly ask us where have you been all day.

Out of a very mundane experience like laying grass and trimming them only somebody like you could make us laugh and ponder.

Eminently readable and it richly deserves the FP Award.

I was so relieved to know that the Rain God helped to cover the bald patches of grass, saves you all the trouble of growing through the process from the scratch.

I am so very glad that you find the grass at home is so green. By writing about it, you saw to it that our hearts too filled with the green hued glee.
