Thanks for bringing two beautiful posts to the FP.

Twinsmom's " Oh Captain, My Captain! " is a befitting tribute to a father (in-law) who oozed as much love and affection as she had for him. It was a unique situation where you give and receive so much love from an in-law. And only Viji could have expressed it so well. I know that her father in-law is beaming with pride in heaven after reading this heart touching expression of love from a daughter in-law that he dotted on.

Infinitehopes is know to me as a person who is a huge talent for providing clear, grounded in reality and practical perspective to our friends seeking help in our popular Marriage forum. Her " domestic violence" is a testimony to her infinite talent it not just starting an insightful discussion but making the thread meaningful by her replies to the FBs in that thread. Way to go girl!

Dear SS & Kamla,

Earlier one of you used to go to the post that was nominated and make a post saying that it was nominated with your comments. It was a nice gesture and would make other posters curious and it would increase awareness and also a healthy competition. Do you think doing that again might help increase traffic to Finest Posts?

Absolutely Hema.

Actually we haven't totally dropped the routine of writing an FB to the nominated posts. It is just that we have become a little irregular with the routine, not for any other reason but for the lack of discipline (in my case!) or the lack of time.

I am glad that you think that this gesture provides encouragement to the poster and the nominators.

But really, being able to write an FB to a wonderful post is extremely satisfying to us and we love it!

Thanks for your note reminding us that these small gestures from us do make a difference!

Hi,

I would like to nominate Household cleaning tips by Shel 28. Though not an original piece of writing, it is a comprehensive cleaning guide and am sure it took a lot of time and effort to put it together. Very useful for all.

Yes,why do we women put our family first?A vey pertinent question.Mariagwe do results in diveting our loyalties.The girl who said that she would not be able to live without her father and mother,once she gets married learns to swim with the tide.In the hurr burr of life her priorities do change.Foer men also it happens.His wife his children do come first for most men,let us admit it.
