Dear Kamla and SS,

Today is a lucky day for me. For I quite accidentally stumbled upon Shanthi's poem "Do you know that dear."

And I want to express my gratitude to Shanthi for giving such a nice feeling by nominating that as the finest post of January 2009.

Shanthi has proven an age old dictum that in a poem with soft, simple words placed in the right places you can convey the profoundest of meanings with grace.

Hats off to you Shanthi.

Thank you so much for bringing back Oviya's "Whatever...Wherever...!" back to the FP.

It was an out and out hit as soon as she posted it. I remember so many of us rushing to write FBs to her wonderfully hilarious post!

Oviya has proved time and again that she can write a comedy or a serious post with the same grace and perfection. Her language though rich never sounds too orante. I have always admired this quality in her writing.

Thanks OJ-da for bringing it to the FP yet again.

You have surely extended a nice honor to Oviya by adding this post of her's in your signature.

Dear Varalotti Sir,

I really have to thank you a ton for filling up an otherwise mundane Monday morning with so much love and making my mind and heart fly around in heavenly bliss after reading Shan's wonderful poem " Do you know that dear".

What a masterpiece! We all know that the chemistry and love between Shan and Veda is one that evokes awe in all of us. To put forth such complex sentiments in words and convey them so perfectly is again a skill that is simply awe worthy. Veda is a very very lucky man.

Although I will try hard to be an original, but I know that I am going to end up borrowing (call it stealing!) some of the verses from Shan's beautiful poem when I write a card for my husband this Valentine's day!

So thanks in advance Shan.
