Dear Supriya,

I have just this minute read Mindian's Homecoming and enjoyed every bit of it.
She did really express her thoughts in great clarity, so much so, all of us went back to our own experiences and feelings of homecoming.
A delectable read.
Thanks for nominating it.

L, Kamla

What a hilarious piece by Bhiku Mhatre! Thank you for leading us to this rib tickling piece. I loved reading the part on the cash strapped young student in the US. Better still is the realisation, that the date has not even begun, but his lady love has left him bleeding. IL is lucky to have a whole new breed of writers like Balajee, Uncannybal,Bhiku all led by Kamalji and Cheeniyasir- our XY bloggers who can be humourous without making it so evident. We needed that in IL!

Thanks,Monsi and Bhiku!

regards
Vidya
Dear Vidya,

Thanks.Yes Balajee,Uncanibal, and Bhiku have changed the face of IL and added so much more fun and humour spreading smiles all over.

I have a few more bloggers coming in next week, and i can assure u they will give tought competition to the ones present here, as well as spread a smile. So just wait a couple of days.

And it felt so nice for Balajee to win the June Nominations, this must have raised his confidence levels so much highter. Thanks I lites.

And may i tell u a little secret about Bhiku Mhatre.Actually Sunkan had approaced him before i did, so the credit goes to her in fact. And she brought me, rather dragged me here, and i am just loving it.

Ah yes thesecret of Bhiku. He was dilly dallying , coming today coming tommorrow etc.

So i created his account by myself, filled in a password, and went and copy pasted his frist blog about sisters from his other site, and posted it, as i had the usernmame and password.

After 4 or 5 comments came in, i sent him a email, giving him his passwrd and username, the site adress, and he was surprised to see the reaction over here. And after that i see him more here than there.

I hope u will forgive me for my unusual methods,an d dont send him notes, they will keep coming to my email ID.So u sisters be careful.HAHA.

Regards.kamal

The Homecoming.....

A wonderful writing revolving around the excitement and anticipation a mother feels at the onset of a child's homecoming.. be it from school, college or after marraige or at any age that feeling is unique and she has captured it so very captivatingly.

Thanks for leading us to such a jubilant and cheerful post. Mindian has made her daughter's home coming a real celebration for all of us. When she talks of Beyonce blaring in her house, of playing Scrabble and fighting for the remote, in drooling over Djokovic's mopey looks- I guess we all joined Mindian and her husband in turning 17 again. Talk about an instant face and age lift!!!

Great post, great Mindian, great AC!

Dear Kamalji,

Well, well, well! Talk of unusual methods of recruiting new ILites! Making an ID, giving a password, then notifying the real 'member'- but then all for a good cause, so I guess it is okay. Thanks to you and Sunkan for drawing in many worthy bloggers into IL. Now that you humouorus blogers are all here, we will lock you in IL and throw the key away---

Keep em coming, Kamlaji! And by 'em' I mean your blog and bloggers!!! Ha,Ha,Ha!!!

regards
Vidya

Hello Kamla and Vidya,

I would also like to join in nominating Mindian's The Homecoming.....

Made me very emotional and realise that I need to prepare for these in a few years !!

A lively narration with sensitive emotions underneath !! Relished it so much !

Hello Kamla and Vidya,

I take pleasure in nominating Chitvish's reply to Mindian's post "The Homecoming"

Here is the link for Chitvish's reply...The Homecoming.....

She has remarkably brought in the process of "detached attachment" by giving instances of her own experience ! Extremely worthy of emulating every step of it !

Wish I could have a fraction of her convictions about it !

Thanks,
Krithika
