| Dear Moderators, I would llike to nominate Venonimiss's, The invisible Companions She is having an amazing and unique way of writing. I feel, when I read her threads, that she speaks and she speaks her heart. It is too difficult for people to reveal all their inner feelings. There are some self-constraints. V is an exception to that; making so many people, get rid of some guilty feelings. It helps an introspection which leads to correction. Her writeups are such a treat that anyone can sit and relish.

| Dear Sowpar, Always nice to see you back with a nomination, you come with fabulous ones. Guess it the warmth and love of Mother's Day radiating a glow in IL, all our writers are coming up with strong yet tender pieces dedicated to their mothers. Mithila Kannan's post is one that showcases a range of moods and lessons. The unbelievable incident where her mother loses her husband brought tears to the eye. Any other wife would have quailed under the shock, but Padmasaniamma brought out fortitude and patience to get over that situation, and to rear her children especially daughter. If we see strength and conviction in Mithila's words today, we now know that it is because of a beacon light in her mother. A truly monumental piece. regards Vidya Quote:

| Dear Oviya, Thank you! And a million times, forever and a day more. Sometimes, you read a piece that leaves you feeling full, leaves you fulfilled. A fine post perfect in content and syntax. Perfect in prose and the philosophy it wants to convey. This post by Venonimiss, a classic in itself, is a classic example of this. A normal, average, ordinary house maid. Period. We would think of her with layers of emotions- anger, relief that she has turned up and done her work, happy that we are able to do some service and fulfil our hearts---- Venonimiss has identified moods so common in all our homes. In many places she has penned what is so routine and unspoken, 'like checking the clothes for stains during a period before handing them over to the maid'. And finally a brief 5 lines (I counted) conveying the gist of the piece, the essence of such significant people in our lives. Any writer who can write such is remarkable. Thanks Oviya! As always a picture perfect nomination. regards Vidya Quote:

| Dear Kamalji, You do know that seeing you here after the bomb scare in Jaipur means a lot to us. You are one of the most forthright and acerbic bloggers in IL and your nominations in FP are valuable to us. Venonimiss with her invisible companions- what more can I say?? A post that stirs so many feelings in the reader. One is awed by the writer and her heroine- a domestic help. If we women did not have maids to take care of our drudgery, where would we find time to be doctors, bank officers, teachers, IL moderators/members or even mothers???(NRI members kindly disregard this sentence, gadgets take the role of human help, I guess). Venonimiss has paid homage to a whole class of labour. Cheers,Kamalji! Vidya |
