Sundarusha tks a tonne for nominating me.But while I am a newcomer to IL I am no newcomer to writing.

Dear Usha,

In my earlier response to you, I forgot to respond to your suggestion.
In view of Balajee's response to you, I must say I totally agree with him.
What has writing got to do with newcomers to IL or old timers?! Writing is writing and there should be no discrimination as to who wrote it.
All the same, I thank you for your suggestion. It is everyone's caring input that makes this site so vibrant.

Now I know how the Oscar nominees feel !!!

It truly was a pleasant nostalgic trip for me as I sat hammering away at the keyboard last Sunday getting Africa across to all my good pals .

We are wilting away here in Chennai 's summer heat and if you could organise some real rain to bless us then we'll be really thankful....meanwhile I'll be content with the nominations "pouring" !!

Ha ha Krithika!

Africa was imposing enough, had to digest its fascinating people, customs and dances too. Me needs a break from such an exhausting trip before these old bones can take on another excitement!! Hence the little rest.

Seriously, just made my visit to the Niagara. Oh, what a write up on your impressive journey, well supported by the pictorial provocation! It sure wakes up the desire to visit Niagara, the great waterfall.
