The reply was excellent very befitting the FP nominated thread itself. Since the thread has already been nominated and I consider it very worthy too I am going to limit myself to suggesting everyone read Kamla's most talented feedback.. very humourous.. This is not the first time I have noticed her excellent manner of leaving a feedback/comment.. In fact after reading hers I have decided I am going to refer to it when I reply/comment. My congratualtions and salutations to Kamla

Your nominating my reply has put me in an AC atmosphere alright...feels really coooool:)
Having said that, I do not think my reply qualifies for an FP nomination, it is like I am trying to flourish on the borrowed glory of Sowpar's excellent initial post which was very infectious.
But your flattering words are something to glow about and thank you, thank you, thank you:)

Hi all,

I like to nominate Balajee's Dude Where's My Tooth . I enjoyed his style of writing about visit to the dentist. I feel that for newcomer IL's nominations, there should be a separate contest.

This is one great piece of writing. Whenever we go out for dinner, I drink Diet Coke. When my daughter asks for it, I give her the water bottle:) A sharp sense of hypocrisy hits me, but then I don't delve too much into it. Venonimiss hits home with the line "Now I know that you have to be the person you want your kid to be". Perfect! I would like to nominate the below for finest post of May. Now, I feel a bit like a mom…

Dear Usha,

That sure was a funny anecdote on dentist visits. The writing was very fluid taking the readers to the dentists. One almost felt the pain!

I am really amazed at your fine sense of parenthood. Your little girl is lucky. Yes, don't delve too much, its just fine to be natural and affectionate. Too much of analysis is not good either..My two cents.
Venonimiss has a way with words and the way she took us all through the journey from womanhood to motherhood was gripping.

I am yet to read Devika's piece. As for Ac' cats experience, she has easily brought to light in her humorous way the many baseless fears most of us nurture out of sheer superstition .

What can I say?

You write so well and make interesting readings out of ordinary every day happenings. Your first attempt at fiction, Chellama, was simply brilliant. Short and poignant. Without revealing much, you are telling all! With such writing skills, it is only right that you find a permanent place in FP forums.

If this is your express wish, we will try to respect it. It is true, nomination here is already a crowning victory and you are a winner.
