Heartiest Congratulations Vanaja! Your post and the FBs were indeed a treat in the food for thought area. I wanted to go through all the FBs (which are many) in much detail one day and jot down a few points for myself! That day has not come yet but I guess this announcement has put it quite high up there on my list of things to do.

You both do such an awesome job of the FP of the month contest that though I may sound like a broken record here, I will continue to express my deep appreciation month after month for the wonderful job you do. If you can make such a challenging task look easy month after month after month, the least I can do every month is express my appreciation for keeping this going which I truly feel from the bottom of my heart.

And dear Vidya, just to set the record straight (using the word record in many different contexts here J), you do not have to "hope" that you and Kamla do right by all of us ILites every month. You VERY WELL DO! No questions and no two ways about it! You do the right thing, in the right way and in the right spirit!

I thank the ALMIGHTY on this happy occasion for His choicest blessings on me. I pray Him to keep me as His instrument to serve the humanity till my last breathe.

This thread is not only a part of IL, it is a treasure of my life.

If at all this World exists or survive, it is only due to the "Immense Power of Woman". No man shines or born without a Woman.

This thread carried only two questions on Women. At first I was little bit hesitant to go forward with the thread as the replies were less in number. But when some of you said that they need lot of introspections and time to give a reply, I was overwhelmed with the responsibility you ILITES had towards those questions.

You all proved it with your potential replies. Indeed, the caption by Vidya for the "FP - April 2008 Winner" itself carries the essence of the Woman thread and for me a big burden of compiling the replies is removed by her.

I place my heartfelt and sincere thanks to one and all who participated in this thread, the moderators, the ilites who nominated this thread, the Administrator and the Forum members for making this thread a success.
