Reading The Stalker must have brought many of you nearer to your alter ego! In the hustle and bustle of life, it is so easy to lose one's bearings. No one is infallible. But the secret is to recognize one's Achilles' heel and take command at the right time.

Devika took us through a short and adventurous path along with her protagonist and woke us all up along with her heroine at the nick of the moment.......Made a lovely read and is it any wonder it fetched her so many nominations ?!!

Did you all wonder?? Did you all think that Kamla was showing her true colors...that of a prankster...and fooling around this April 1st morning??

Dear friends, the real story is totally different. I was not trying to fool you all. I am quite particular to announce the winner around early in the morning--about 6 am in my part of the world. But on this April 1st, the computer tried to play its April fool tricks on me! Had no internet access. Well, after struggling around, this is the earliest that I could bring in the announcement to my utter chagrin.

Sorry about the delay friends. Hope I didn't cause too much distress with this delay!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this post of yours and it made me think about the other stalkers in my life too.

Your posts are a delight to read. I try and make sure I read most of your contributions. You have a great style of writing and your interaction with other ILites is very pleasant. It is nice to read your posts and all the FBs that your posts attract.

Believe you me friends....

The easiest part of this contest is to make the announcement about the winner ! Did I make you all wonder?...Well...Is it not understandable because the hardest, the most difficult part...was and is to decide that all the rest of the nominations are Not going to be the winners!!

If we like the content of one post, we liked the subject matter of another equally. If one post excels in quality, the other simply touches the core of your heart. Then some more appeal to your sense of poetry and others charm you with their wit and simplicity!

We have to say a very special thank you to so many of you for being so active in this forum and bringing one excellent nomination after another...all in all, 29 nominations for this month. You rock!!

Vidya happens to be my fellow moderator for this forum...For this month, somewhat of a shame...'cause...I would have given anything to nominate her "Letter from A Father to a Daughter" and her feedback to Varalotti as the Finest Posts with utmost pleasure:))

Our regular stalwarts Chitvish and Cheeniya, besides being nominated, also were nominating actively. Sunkan, Kamalji, Malspie, Anandchitra and the IL couple- Shanvy and Vysan are our regulars, we never miss them, nor do you! Young Ramya Varadharajan was ruling the March FP forum with several nominations! Hasa, Aquamarine, Vatsan,Jpstar, Latamurali and Ansh12..... added new facets to the writings in IL.

FP of the Month contest has been a very enriching experience indeed.

I have to make a very special mention here of Sudha Narasimhachar's blog about Hats off to you Ladies. This went straight to my heart and it hits one hard with some harsh realities. She is an established writer and it is our privilege to have her as our member. She not only wrote about the 'impoverished' women, but went ahead and did something about it. Hats off to her!
