| Dear Kamla, I would like to nominate, Mithila Kannan's Karuppu Balu and Paruppu Thuvaiyal. Very beautifully written. The easy flow of her writing made me feel like I have started reading a novel. Rather sub-consciously I thought I should read more.

| Dear Moonbeams Your ID always reminds me of the famous song from The Sound of Music, 'How do you solve a problem like Maria?' One of the lines in that song is 'How do you hold a Moonbeam in your hand?' Thanks a lot for nominating my poem 'Living with my heart' in the blogs section. Writing a poem gives a lot more satisfaction because the feelings conveyed in a verse form stand closer to reality than conveying them in prose. I am happy that you found it worthy of nomination. Sri

| Dear AC, It is always comforting to see regulars like you nominating. SudhaNarasimhachar is a blogger with a social conscience and a gender agenda. When she talks about issues, it is always forthright and fearless. Are love marriages the right answer?? One may debate, but Sudha's blog is a treasure. Thanks for this nomination. regards Vidya Quote:

| Dear Oviya, Thank you for a beautiful nomination. Pieces with such local themes and vernacular titles are so appealing, they go straight to the heart. And Mithila has succeeded as a writer if she has kindled a spark to read more. What more can we ask for in a FP nomination?? Thanks,Mithila and thanks Oviya. regards Vidya Quote:

| Dear Moonbeams, Thank you for the nomination. A blog by Kamlaji is always so unique, so different. He is one writer who adds style, substance and strength to the literature content of IL. Yes, the replies are equally striking and there lies the double success of Kamalji - that he has brought out the best in his readers' responses. regards Vidya Quote:

| Dear GF Moonbeams, You have silently nominated my thread, Will You Come With me?, here. Unlike varalotti who shouts and shakes the whole world, when he does something like this, you have silently recorded your appreciation and have gone your way. I would have missed your nomination had I not come here to pay my respects to a brilliant piece of writing. Thanks a billion, moonbeams. Like your user id so eloquently conveys, your shine is powerful enough to illuminate our way, and soft enough not to scorch our bodies. thanks once again, regards, Quote:

| Dear Kamla and Vidya, the moderators of the most popular and the most successful forum in IL, When I saw that the Finest Post nominations for April was open, I did indulge in a serious soul searching. What makes a post the finest post of the month? Well, it could be because, it touched a chord somewhere in you. Or because it was written so well, that you regard it as the finest exhibition of writing skills Or because it provided some useful information, may be how to make paruppu thuvaiyal or how to appease God for getting more favours. Or it was so moving, loving and truthful at the same time, as in the case of Kamla's letter to Ramya when she lost in the Contest Or because it stated the author's view so forcefully and proved another ILite wrong, but did that with unparalleled grace, as in the case of vidya's rejoinder to me in A Love story for you. (I am offended moderators. You two might be fair in complexion but were not fair in your dealings. You simply disregarded my two nominations because it concerned you two) But I read a post this morning which touched a chord in me, moved me, was written so well, provided information that was not just useful, but liberating and revealing, stated the authors view forcefully - it did this all and did something more. It inspired a poor mofussil accountant to write one more poem as well. I am proud to nominate Cheeniya's poem "Living With My Heart" Living with my heart - IndusLadies to be considered the Finest Post of April, 2008. I'm late as usual and am glad to see that this piece has already been nominated. But please read this poem again and again. And when you finish reading it, remember, it was recommended by a 'head-strong' accountant.' with love,
