Dear Moonbeams,

Devika is also turning out to be a formidable poetess! Her lines on children going away is bound to touch every single one of us both as a parent and a child.

Thanks alot. Yes i read a lot.. now after posting the nominations i have been going through the posts and i find almost every post competitive. It is amazing to know that ilites contains a number of elite and popular writers. yesterday i read ambika'r "when kids fly away" a wonderful and emotionally packed poem.

if i am permitted to include another nomination i would like to nominate ambika's "when kids fly away" too. if not i feel i am not doing justice to my nomination.

I am somewhat confused with your present nomination!
"When kids fly away" was written by Devika Menon. I went through the poems and although we have many poems written by the gifted Ambika Ananth, I don't think she wrote one with this title. Please throw some more light on this. I feel you might have got confused with the names.
To avoid such confusions and to facilitate everyone in locating the nomination, we expressly request everyone to add a link to their nominations. Please Geeth, do add the link in future to your nominations.
