    My dear OJ
    Right from my birth, people have been pulling my legs and as a result, they keep growing in length disproportionate to my total body length. In fact I often get worried about figuring in the Guinness Book of Records one of these days and I hate that kind of publicity. Secondly I do not like the kind of probing that the Guinness guys employ before they confirm the claimant as a winner. When I googled for the record for the longest legs in the world, I found that Svetlana Pankratova (born April 29, 1971) has, according to Guinness World Records, the longest legs of any woman in the world. While she is not the world's tallest woman, her legs are reported to be 132 centimetres (4 ft 4 in) long! I do not know if she had also suffered all the leg pulling like me to have landed at her present status of pre-eminence but I certainly have no desire to challenge Svetlana. So my humble request to you is to spare all this leg pulling.

    Satchi's http://www.indusladies.com/forums/snippets-of-life-non-fiction/204570-cant-you-make-up-your.html was earlier nominated by racr but I could not respond to it as I was going out of Chennai to attend a wedding at Chettinad, the famous cultural hub of Tamilnadu. I just landed back in Chennai and wanted to give a cursory glance to FP Forum and found your nomination of this thread. I rushed to the thread and read it and I must say that all your encomiums paid to Satchi are well deserved. On reading it, I was assailed with numerous dilemmas. Should I respond to this now or after a purifying bath? Should I write the response or leave it to awesome Kamla to respond who had responded to racr's nomination of this thread? Should I just acknowledge it here and write a detailed FB in her thread itself or follow my time honoured custom of writing my FB along with my acknowledgement of your nomination? And so on and so forth. I am mentioning it to emphasise on the fact how impactful that Satchi's writings are!

    Thank you for this nomination OJ and thank you for all the good things you have said about me. Coming back to Chennai after two long days of travel, I found it to be the best 'welcome back home' I have ever received!

    Oooooops!

    So, now it has been signed and sealed that I am suffering from short term memory loss!:oops:

    This is a second faux pas in a short span of time! As I replied to Oj-da's nomination of Satchi's post, I had this vague feeling that it was already nominated, checked the index list and it was not in there,thanks to me! What would I do without Cheeniya sir?! :bowdown :bowdown

    Thanks for bringing Quebec's response in DGCreative's thread http://www.indusladies.com/forums/married-life/205019-fed-up-life-feeling-really-3.html#post2639243.

    Like you mention, a wonderful ditty which may be dedicated to all the hard working women! Written with wit and wisdom.

    All the same, it presents a dilemma! We are accepting only English language posts and though he has used English alphabets, the poem is in Hindi! :roll:

    Anyways, I hope it catches more attention as it has been mentioned here, thanks to you.

    I thought this was batter place to answer as that thread is for DG and not showoff..........

    But here i can showoff......

    O DG DG DG,
    see how much you've gotten busy,

    forgetting everything else you have taken care of home come what may,
    also you toil to take apple of your eyes to school everyday,

    every morning you do all the cleaning,
    and if maid doesnt come you get a sinking feeling,

    then after the breakfast is ready,
    you go out to work to keep finances steady,

    you gotta work in office all day even if it is not your passion,
    tired you reach home in the evening from the workstation,

    reaching home every body eyes the kitchen for food,
    but nobody understand that i havent got mornings energy i'm damn tired dude,

    when after wrapping everything you go to sleep,
    you miss those intimate moments with DH and LO which makes your heart weep,

    so DG sister this is my advice,
    you have earned a vacation cause you have paid a hefty price,


    so use new techniques that you can,
    and send MIL to the wedding and you relax with your biggest fan,

    all we can say is best of luck and love to your little one,
    cause to this IL family you are a certain special some one......

    Happy Eid to all ILiets...

    you know what happened today cause of you all....

    I went to office thinking it was a working day.......

    And then came to know from watchman that it was Eid so holiday......

    Now i am all ready to roam about in the city.....

    Well i think i 'll go see a movie.....
