| Dear Ramya, Your dad is indeed a lucky man to have a daughter like you, who takes time to read his articles and nominates them for FP. On the other hand, it is also a reflection on how good a father he is. Nice to know both of you. Your nomination is surely taken note of and I am sure he has put in some meticulous work behind his threads. By nominating the threads here, you have brought it to a wider attention and I am sure that more IL'ites will now get to read them. You are the first to nominate his two threads as of now...who knows, others too might follow suit if they find it impressive. Have no doubts about our IL members' discerning abilities:) Please note, I have added the links to the threads you have nominated. Adding links makes it easy on the members to locate the thread and read. L, Kamla Last edited by Induslady; 19th November 2007 at 09:45 PM. |

You are right. Only lucky people get to read my daddy's posts. I actually joined the site only for reading his poems, stories etc. But, unfortunately I could not find enough time. When I met him recently for Diwali, he mentioned about these two threads and after going through them I was so impressed with the profiles of women he has listed. Especially one Baby Palak who is singing to earn money to donate for the heart operations of hundreds of children. A 13 year-old girl doing such a great thing and since it has been brought out by my daddy here I thought Baby Palak would have been adored. But, I was shocked to see no one except one ILite have appreciated Baby Palak. Then, I thought probably someone has nominated his threads in Finest posts so that other ILites would get to read. Again I was surprised. Anyway, thaks for accepting my nomination. It speaks volumes of your generosity. Regards, ramyar |

| Dear Kamala/Vidya I would also like to nominate Mrs. Chitra's "Faces behind the names". I haven't been in the site for more than a month , even then i wonder when i go out if some one who is walking right next to me or standing buying vegetables or shopping in the same store i shop are the ILite's. I also wonder if there could be anyone from next door or the same street i live, whom we dont even know exist. But then, faces behind the names thread has really solved the mystery. Hoping to see more new faces and also to recognise when i run into them. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/ou...the-names.html
