Dear Veda(Vysan) and Vandhana,

Thank you both for nominating a very touching piece 'Pawprints in My Heart'. What makes the piece so remarkable is that it comes from a teenager, and is a lyric in compassion and love. When we read such pieces, we really feel a tugging in the heart.

We request you to give us time till we accept this nomination for the contest, under advisement. We would like to draw your attention to a small, technical point here. The posts considered for the FP contest have to be made by ILites, registered members. Earlier, we had another beautiful nomination- a poem written by the son of an energetic ILite. We had cited this rule then.

Please allow us to consult again with Induslady and get back on this.

Contest apart- Archana's post, 'Pawprints in my heart' is a timeless one. Sriniketan is amply blessed with a daughter who is not only a good writer, but one with her heart in the right place.

I am adding it to the FP index since it is a MUST READ piece.

I would also second the nomination. At a young age there are potentials of a great writer in the girl which should be noticed and encouraged.

No need to feel apologetic. You have not put us into any problems. IL is hassle free zone. And anyway, let us wait for Malathy to come back and clarify this.

Contest is only one small part of FP. Anyone who reads Pawprints will see for sure that the piece is one to read and preserve.

Thanks a lot for nominating my post Marriage and Emotional Needs - A Reverse Example. It has been posted long back and to receive a nomination at this time from you is quite heartening for me.
Many ILites are moved by Sushma's story so much so that an ILite has asked for some details about Sushma so that she can fix a match for her. I am really moved.
