We feel it is just the other day that we opened the nominations for July but already we are on threshold of announcing the nominations for August. The month flies very fast and indeed this month was quite hectic here with lot of nominations pouring in. But we do enjoy reading these masterpieces.

We continue to look forward for your nominations for the best blogs for the month of August 2009 with the same enthusiasm. Please start pouring in the nominations for the Finest Blog for the month. As you are aware, there is a special gift for the IL-ite who sends in the first nomination for the winning blog.

Note: This nomination thread will be open till August 30th, 2009. Please go through the entire blog list. Choose from among the blogs posted in the past or those that are posted in the current month.

Thanks for nominating Akila's blog that touched one's heart deeply.

She has described the pain of waiting with optimism for a positive result, the 'try and try again' without losing hope is a wonderful message to people in the same situation... and the happiness at the end more than makes up for the despair of the earlier days...
