As the month of March draws to a close, we are here to start our fresh nominations for April, please do continue sending your nominations of the blogs you liked reading (from our Blog section) for the month of April. As you know, from the blogs you enjoyed & nominate as best blogs, we choose the Finest Blog for the month and award a special gift.

When Did He Grow?

I am nominating one more emotional filled post. It is by Promilla. It is wonderfully narrated to tell the emotion of a mother and a eight year old boy.

It some how resembled my situation. I want to nominate this for the April month best blog.

I second Andal's and Malathi Jagan's nomination of Promila's blog When Did He Grow

As parents we all know that the greatest pain is parting from our children when they fly out of the nest, either permanently or temporarily.

Promila's blog has captured that pain with simple, wonderful words. I am sure anyone who had read that blog woud a) have cried and b) never forget it for the rest of their lives.

I know I am late and that the blog has already been nominated twice. But Accountants are always like that, you know.

I too was moved by the said blog...she has captured the unsaid emotions of the mother and the kid so beautifully...My heart went out for them. Being a mother I know how it pains to part from the kids.

Btw: What is this new way of addressing...baskku retirement aydtha? hence tit for tat...idhu eppadi irrukku.
