I've been thinking to do Monday fasting, Solah Somvaar vrat but have always been little concerned about not being able to eat salt. I'm a working woman and think it'll be really hard to go without salt for a whole day. Can this fast be done if we only eat salt once a day? i.e., eat fruits throughout the day and in the evening after pooja, when we have a meal, just eat salt in it once? Has anyone else done that? pls let me know your thoughtsthinkingsmiley
:welcome Sister Tweety1626 to IL family, Being a working woman, your thought of doing Vrat is itself commendable, in the end it is the devotion and dedication that matters, these fasting is included in the Vrats, just to have a light meal and not an elaborate one and spend more time concentrating on the Pooja/Lord. So please enjoy doing the Vrat in your own comfortable way, provided the dedication in remembering the Lord is your focus. May baba guide you and fulfill all your wishes too, SAIRAM
Dear Tweety and Saishakthi, Could you please tell me how this vrat is done? Do I need to buy the katha books for it like in the case of Vaibhav Laxmi vrat? Please let me know. Thank you.
