 Re: Republic Day Hi All I am posting this at night, with the Republic Day almost over. Felt very patriotic and "proud-to-be-Indian" today, watching ( on TV) the Parade in Delhi. When the tricolour unfurls and flutters, believe me friends, I always get teary eyed. Greetings to all. Jai Hind ! Manjula

 Re: Republic Day Dear Sonia, Just now read ur Republic Day Greetings. When we are away always think of the motherland. The moment we touch the native soil many of the NRI's tend to develop an amnesia. Don't ask about us who stay permanently. Too lazy to witness the parade or attend the function. WE have never suffered or struggled for the country's emancipation. No more are the people of that generation living any more. But ask our politicians i am sure they would dare to pride of their contribution at a time they never existed. We Indians are a bundle of paradox. Kanaka  |
