Are you familiar with Rabindrasangeet .Great poet and Nobel lauraete Rabindranath Tagore wrote many poems small stories and songs.His songs are called Rabindrasangeet.Most of his songs are in bengali language,yet rabindrasangeet is now sung by all most all music lovers.Let us know which is your best rabindrasangeet song?

Hi All,

I want to share one of his poems.Moreover, he wrote poems and songs in Bengali.Translations of his work are quite rare. It is very tedious task to find good translations of his work. I have selected the following poems quite randomly, because I liked reading them over and over again. I knowe there are many poems written by him are good but I like Geetanjali the most.

Geetanjali

"Thou hast made me endless, such is thy pleasure. This
frail vessel thou emptiest again and again, and fillest it ever with
fresh life.
This little flute of a reed thou hast carried over hills and dales, and
hast breathed through it melodies eternally new.

At the immortal touch of thy hands my little heart loses its limits in

Nice Thread!!
I am a music lover and I have put my kids also into music as I want to sing .
Rabindra Sangeet is one of my favourites
I am not a bengali though but love to hear the Rabindra Sangeet.
I have a lot of Bengali friends out here in Pune.
I listen to some Hindi Rabindrasangeet also..They seemed to be equally sonorous like the bengali ones.
Can somebody share some links where Hindi Rabindra Sangeet can be downloaded or heard ?
