| Hi ! dear pals inthe IL world, Today 21st Fiday is a special day......know why? It is unique because a number of communities all over the world ,spanning diverse continents following different faiths have this day marked as important in their calendar's. Christians the world over observe today as Good Friday. Muslims the world over observe Milad-un Nabi or the birthday of The Islamic Prophet Mohammed. In some parts of the world , like Egypt this festival is called Mawlid. Nowruz, the Persian New Year falls today, also the Baha'i New Year. In North India Holi the festival of colours is celebrated today. In South India, Panguni Uthiram which is of religious significance is celebrated in Tamilnadu. Happy celebrations.....wishing abundant peace and prosperity to all of us. warm regards PAULINA ![]() |

| Thanks Pauline, Today is really special!! I didnt know that earlier, but was wondering about it as I met differnt people celebrating differnt festives today and was wondering how everything was on the same day. Is there a connection between these festivals? I mean inter religious connection? |
