 Re: Happy Independence Day I am also late in wishing. Here, my American colleagues who know about India said that India's 60th Independence day is 'India's shashtiapthapoorthi'. They were asking me 'Is there any special program?'. Excepting watching TV programs I did not find anything special. But, watching Zee TV I saw three interesting performances. First was a man in Allahabad dressed in tricolour has candles with tricolour lined along his moustache. Second was a man in Orissa, on the beach sands has made Bapuji's head and a ten feet high flatform made of sand with a giant tricolour flag. Third was a hotelier who had introduced tricolour in all his dishes (eatable colours). Masala dosa with teicolour was interesting. Happy Independence Day to all Regards, TDU
