    Dear ladies,
    I am a regular reader of IL. This is my first thread. There are a lot of nice topics of discussion here, very informative. I would like to know if anyone has gone through Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy? Bio-identical hormones are plant based hormones that are very similar to our hormones.
    Any positive feedback?:thumbsup
    Any side effects?
    Any suggetstions?:idea

    I would love to hear about it.

    Ladies!!!
    I have some progress to share. I have been on the BHRT for about 3 months now. I am feeling GREAT! :bowdownI started seeing a doctor that specilizes in alternative medicine.
    Some of the tests that were done ...
    Vitamin D-25 for bone density
    Saliva test for hormone check (mine were really out of norms)
    DHEA- for hormones
    TSH/T3 - thyroid

    Thanks to the new supplements and compounded meds, I haven't felt this good in 10 years. I can remember where I put thing:rotflAlso did wonders for my thyroid since both T4 and T3 are treated.
