Sri Angala Parameshwari amman temple in Chennai

Yes,the Amman is really a huge one.She looks so real.I went to PutlurAmman temple some six months back.We were asked to offer bangles,neem leaf garland and lime to the main deity AngalaAmman.Then we tied a cradle in front of a snakehill inside the temple.The priest asked me to hold the pallu of my sari near the leg of the Goddess.He placed a Lime and some flowers on the goddess' leg and made it fall into my hands.I was asked to eat the whole lime.There is a Nandi facing the main deity which is the speciality here,usually NandiDevar is seen only in Siva temples.Have a visit to the temple.

I have been to this temple2yrs back before my pregnancy,did same what bindhu mentioned in her post.

Now planning to go again with my kid during mynext India trip.
