iui and progestrone supplement help please

I did my iui.my progestorne is normal.is progestrone supplement is needed for everyone during the2 weeks wait period? please reply me since i dont take any progesrorne supplements.is this normal ?please give your valuable suggestions.

If your OBGYN feels that he/she needs to put on Prog supplements, then it would be done. If your progesterone levels are ok, they may not suggest it. If you feel you do need them..call up your OB's office and ask the nurse about it. That would be the best solution in this case.

my question is it compulsory to take the progestrone supplement after iui?please who did iui please tell me?

its not necessary that every person undergoing iui should take progestrone suppliments.

Doctor generally check your progestrone levels after ovulation and if progestrone levels are normal then doctor wont prescribe progestrone suppliments.

Yeah.There is no need if your body is secreting enough progestrone.Doctors will do test and find out.Don't worry dear.Unless and until your doctor prescribes no need to worry.It would be fine.Keep your self cool.If you stress it will affect your TTC journey.

what u ask is a good one... because these are hormones better be careful... but i have seen that invariably for all people who get iui done, they write these tablets also.. because we are given a different set of hormones before ovulation... rememeber ??

were u given any other medicines before ur ovulation ??

i took clomid from cycle day to 3 to 7 days
and on 13th day i took hcg trigger shot for ovulation.and the iui on two mornings

Having Progesterone suplements is not a compulsary one as long as your progesterone levels are normal.. Your body will take care of it. If you ever needed the supplement, your gynec would have prescribed it to you! So be cool!
I didn't have any supplements after my IUI!

since u took only clome and hcg injection, maybe u can show ur progesterone count to your dr and talk about not needing extra prog support...

now a days they seem to give proges anyhow inspite of having normal counts.... its completely upto the dr to decide.... so though u and me may feel we do not need extra proges... we r in the hands of dr....so talk to the dr...
