Prenatal Vitamins And Ovulation

hi all,

does taking a prenatal vitamins make any change in checking ovulation?
because i m trying trrack my ovualtion days but the kit is showing -ve but as i observe my body there is a rise in my body temperature and also white discharge...

I don't think there will be change because of prenatal tablets...
Check out for a day or 2. I hope most OPKs will tell you after the ovulation.

This is something I messed up with last month. Though a rise in temperature and Mucus are right signs of ovulation, they are not to be trusted compltely. It is possible that u cud hv a rise in temp on one day n then temp goes down the next day. OPK is the only way to predict ovulation 100%. For many women, ovulation happens 24-36 hrs after OPK shows positive. Also, for many women(including me) ovulation happens a day or two after you find fertile mucus(egg white or watery). Do get a reliable brand of OPK and make sure u r led by ur cervical mucus before u test.

But IMHO, itz best to BD every other day when u find fertile cervical mucus and make sure u continue for a couple of days after ur fertile mucus is gone. Gud luck to you!!
