hi all,
myself and my friend were joking in the clinic today that how nice we can stop worrying about the household by joining in a "pregnancy hostel" after we get conceived !!

sounds like lots of laziness - just eat and sleep... no work at all and complete bed rest !! WOW !!

but are there any such thing in reality in hyderabad or elsewhere... just curious to know about such hostels...

i see so many birth classes and lamaze classes etc maybe those experts could provide info about such hostels whose term would be till delivery alone !!

I sure hope there isn't any such place as a pregnancy hostel. The more work and excerise a pregnant woman does the healthier she and her baby will be. Just because a woman is pregnant does not mean that she is incapable of accomplishing her daily tasks. Although all women would love a little pampering at her blessed moment, too much pampering can lead to other complications.

ur's is one school of thought... here the problem with us is that we get so much involved in work that sometimes we have to bend and then sometimes walk very fast and do come strenuous work even at home or outside...

i mean a hostel where we can exercise regularly 3 times after 3rd month... till 3rd month mild excercise, nutritious food (thats why any ladies hostel will not work - it has to be a proper pregnancy care hostel with only pregnant women occupants - oh what a comaraderie !!) and max bed rest and browse IL !! .... just like as though in mother's house... why we are asking is because we do not have any ladies in out household to help us and substitute with chores during that time... also men are lest helpful in household whatever be the reason - high fever, bakcpain or pregnancy... they are happy pregnancy has come and they forget to give their helping hand even in small ways because of their office work...

so we were just thinking of this idea...

Thats a great idea!! Who knows?Maybe in future somebody starts like that and the credit should go to hemadurga.

if we imagine that its really good. if any hostel like that i will join only if they allow my dh to stay there.because he is with me with all my struggles i want him with me when i enjoy those period(when i am pregnant) and i really want to thank you for starting a relaxing thread in this forum. instead of discussing the serious things alone we can also discuss these thoughts too.........

what u say is 100% correct aishu maa..

i also can't leave my hubby.... he was there for me and gives me a lots of support all this while... tolerate everything for me...
how can i be happy without him...

sorry gals... i'm wont join in this hostel (if really exist)...
I'll be more happier being around with my hubby...n I want to share this happy moments with my hubby only.

Nice idea indeed.This will be very good in areas where the girl has to work,cannot go to her mother's place for delivery,no help or support from inlaws side etc.But still the girl would prefer to be near her close ones during those times.
