Default Cramping after ovulation?

Hi

Im seeing something wierd this cycle. As per Fertilityfriend, Im 3DPO today and have been cramping like my AF is due from today morning. I woke up early bcoz of the cramps n have been having watery discharge today. It feels like my AF has started coming. Has anybody gone through something like this? Is it something I might have to consider seriously or is it just my body changing with age?? Im 26 and wonder what all this could mean

Cheers
Ramya

Ramya,

In case you had unprotected sex, cramping after ovulation sometimes indicates implantation cramps.... meaning you could be pregnant.

If the pain persists, please go to your Gyno.

Hi JustAni,

It was just so nice to hear that I could be pregnant...however when I googled about this, it says that implantation happens only 6-12DPO...so I dont think this was implantation...nywayz my cramps have gone down today n juz having the white discharge today...I'd be more than happy if it turns gud but what worries me is that some say that this could be a sign of endometriosis as well. I checked 6 months back n endo was ruled out...juz hoping that I havent developed anything in these 6 months...

I do have cramps this cycle for the past few days. Now its 9 days past IUI! Is there any chance for it to become implantation?

Ramya - it is not necessary that Implantation cramps should occur only in 8 DPO. Anything out of ordinary could be it. Just to be on safer side, do not do heavy duty exercise and include lots of protein in your diet.

Vasu..It is a good sign. Do have lots of proteins and do not over exert yourself.

Both of you....Chill it for some time.

It could be ovulatory pain or some cysts(harmless) in the ovary.

Ramya, FF may not always be right. It changes the 'O' date as and when we enter information. So unless it was a very clear shift, you may have actually ovulated later and the cramps may mean ovulation cramps as well (very few women experience this)
I say this because you have mentioned watery discharge which is considered fertile...Usually CM changes texture the same day or the day following ovulation and is no more egg white / watery..
While it is unlikely that it could have been implantation at 3dpo, nothing is impossible and each woman is different! So good luck

Vasumathy, wow, cramps at 9 dpo sounds great! Fingers crossed for you. Do keep us updated. Good luck!
