Any Success Stories With Gonal-f and premetrium tablets?

Hi All,
2 months back I had 3 Clomid and ovidrel cycles..but I didn't get any +ve results..then after my doctor suggested me to go for
gonal-f,ovidrel,premetrium treatment...I started for this month cycle..I don't know how it will work...Is there any success stories with this gonal-f treatment? and
I have one more question after this 3cycle treatment I planning to go india in Jan..can any one suggest me who is best doctor in Hyd to treat unexplained infertility?

Hi,

I had no success with clomid, so moved on to gonal-f/iui. Fortunately, got pregnant on the first cycle and have a 14 month old son now.

Are you combining the gonal-f with an iui ? That will really increase your chances to get pregnant.

With gonal-f the chance of ovulation occurring is 99% so do maximize your chances of a pregnancy by combining it with an IUI.

Thanks for information..it is very relaxing to me..yes I am having gonal-f with IUI..Is there any side affects with gonal-f?how many did you use this injection?did you premetrium tablets also?

I did not experience any gonal-f side effects except for some ovarian pain right around the time of ovulation. Sice the ovaries were being stimulated they hurt a bit. No mood swings that clomid gave either.

I cant remember my exact dosage but I think it was 150 per day for 4 days and then 225 for 2 OR 3 days.My doc did not give me any thing else such as prometrium.

Make sure and take COMPLETE bed rest for 3-4 days after your IUI to maximize your chances of conception. and drink lots of room temperature water and also aim to get atleast 75 gms of protein from milk, nuts, seeds, cheese, and small amounts of eggs and chicken. No excercise at all and also keep your stomach covered at all times.

We tried naturally for more than 1yr.but it didn't work so i consulted infertility doctor and she checked everything.one good thing in my case is me and my husband don't have any specific problem so my doctor suggested me use some medication for intial 3months that doesn't work for me after that
I had gone through some procedures with gonal-f and capsuals,in 1st cycle only it worked for me ,i think i am very lucky finally this works for me..so thanks to god.
