Vaginal discharge

Dear Friends,

I got married in March 2009 in my 24thyear...

My concern is.... I am getting some fluid (like white gel) in my vaginal area.. I am in confusion is it normal or do i need to consult a gynaec?

Please friends help me out in this...

Dear Uma,

Vaginal discharge could be due to any of the below mentined reaons.

1.Leakage of extra semen after IC.

2.Indication of ovulation/fertilization/embryo implantation.

3.Vaginal/urinary infections.

4.Excessive heat in body.

5.Before the start of menstrual cycle.

But all reasons are normal and does not sound bad.

If you feel the discharge is more and has a strong odour,please consult a Gynaec and also discuss with her about your pregnancy plans,in case if you have not planned aleady!

HI Uma,
I would like to second Raji's reply.... It doesn't sound there is a problem! You will get white discharge called cervical mucus during your ovulation time! Stay calm!

Thanks Vasu and RG, I am trying to conceive and I had this white discharge for a long time now. My periods is already overdue and hence hoping that this white discharge is not an indication to my periods. Your posts also threwsome light on the same.

Hi Uma,
If you have regular periods & missed periods by a week, do a HPT! Pregnant women says they get white dischare throughout their pregnancy.

Thanks Vasu! I definitely have not missed the periods by a week! May 3 or 4 days. Amalready excited and don't know whether I would be patient enough to wait for 3 more days. hehe!!

Mine is very hot body.. I don't know how to tacke it... My hubby would often feel so much heat from me... (even in normal situations:bowdown)

I not yet planned for pregnancy and I am thinking I can plan after few months....

I am kokila, I am facing Vaginal discharge issue past 15 days and I am not married so fear about this issue.

Let me know when this Vaginal discharge will hapen normally and wat are reason for Vaginal discharge.

Unmarried also will face this issue??

Pl someone help me or better to take treatment.

Hi Kokila,

By discharge do you mean white discharge or what??

If so first of all dont panic..Itz nothing to do with married or unmarried girls...

Once we girls mature our body starts reacting in numerous ways..No things are common nor no things are unique..

White discharge is quite common among 90% of ladies...Due to some hormonal change or imbalance these all happen..Sometimes cleanliness is also a reason.

Stay cool..Consult a reputed doctor and get her advise..

Kokila,

I second to Cindhuja.You may be required to meet a Gynaec as early as possible if the discharge is yellow/pink /brown in colour and has a strong odour.
