unable to concieve

hello,

I am trying for children for last two years and not able to concieve.

My blood result showed that i had prolactine level (35) high and my gynic

asked to take MRI.I am much worried about this.Is this a serious problem.do i

need to take MRI.Is this MRI test result affects my futher treament .

First of all dont worry. Do as per your gynic's advice. I dont know about the MRI scan's result and side effects. But I can tell you one thing. Be happy with your husband, face the facts. Do as per your Dr. One more important thing is

Have faith on God. Dont worry, everything will be alright.

Prolactin is a protein produced by the pituitary gland and also by the uterine lining. It helps in milk production . Increased Prolactin levels may interfere with ovulation and menstrual cycle regularity. You might find white discharge from your breasts,when slightly pressed and decreased libido (sex drive).

Many other conditions like tensions ,during intercourse or others with thyroid and PCOD can also trigger prolactin.

If the prolactin level is more then many doctors do MRI,as this harmone is produced by the pitutary gland in the brain.MRI gives a detailed and better report.
