    Hi Friends,

Let me also join you all. I too have PCOD for many years now. I've been on & off of Metformin. The first thing that I hear when I visit my gynac is 'You have to reduce weight'. I am very good in activities. I do walking, floor exercises, started doing yoga pranayams. My biggest enemy is my diet routine. I would also like to regulate my carb intake and join you guys.

Though it's tough to loose weight with PCO's, its possible with continous effort and determination.

I too would like to follow the below

Morning: 1 glass of warm water with methi seeds
Breakfast : 1 cup of Oats or 1 cup of bran flakes with L/F milk
    Morning snack : 1 fruit
Lunch : 2 Chapaties with veg gravy and salad
    Even.Snack : 1 cup of cofee
    Dinner :..........................a big question mark?

Dinner is the sensitive time for me. This is the time, I return back from my long day work and I feel hungry like a monster. May be it's not the real hunger, but I feel better when I have any food. And at that time, I don't have time to make dough and prepare chapaties just for myself. Rest of the people doesn't eat chapties at my home. So....I end up eating little rice or dosa which is readily available. Inbetween, with kitchuppa's diet I tried skipping dinner with only fruits & veggies. But I can't follow it continuously. So, I failed.

There are other options like Wheat upma, Raagi dosa, Whole meal bread. Let's see. I welcome you suggestions friend.

    Dear

first : u have set in your mind that you want to reduce want weight..
why u want to reduce your weight ?? write it down... and think
what u suppose to do to reduce weight..

second : plan your meal for next day

third : whenever u feel hungry like "MONSTER"... drink water first, if still feel hungry, eat 1 piece of fruit...

it's advisable to take fruits and soups for dinner if you want to reduce fast... but if your tongue and stomach doesn't listen to u , then no choice, u can eat some foods like..ragi dosa and whole meal bread... but very minimal qty !!

try to take some light tiffan or fruits during ur tea break/evening snack... then u won't feel so hungry for dinner.

Just my 2cents... hope it's works for you...
    best of luck
