I missed the fast today - was thinking 22nd is Monday until I saw this thread

Today evening i made Pal payasam and sundal and prayed god sincerely... for all our friends in TTC too.

Oh God ! even i missed the fasting today. i thought shasti is tomorrow (Monday) . I started doing Shasti Vratam from last month (during maha shasti ) . i thought of continuing it for 6 months . but i missed it this month. what can i do now ?

I have successfully did vratham ysday I woke up at morning and placed some flowers, fruits and milk in front of Murugan and lit bhakhti and sang song in name of murugan as i dont have the kanda shasti slogam iam going to take print out today so i can read it twice everyday . I have full faith on murugan and garbarakshambigai to bless me with a health child soon . I really hoping to tell good news for our family soon .....Also will include everyone in my prayer .

Dear Ladies,

A reminder to all. Was speaking to my MIL now and she said Amavasai was on this 16-Dec-2009. So prathamai is on 17-Dec-2009, we should start our verkuzhavi vetkai then :) Shashti falls on 22nd I think. Will cross check and keep you posted if there is a change. Hope our wishes come true and lord Muruga bless us with healthy babies
