But last month the strips came positive. Is it possible that i ovulate one month and dont the next month?? But this month too i had all the signs of ovulation like cramping and mucus change to clear, etc. But I wonder why the strips didnt show that I was ovulating. I am really confused if i have to see my gynec?? Does it happen to anyone that you ovulate one month and dont the next month??

I know it's little hard to pinpoint the ovulation day. Visit this website to read about fertility.

You don't have to spend money every month by buying expensive OPK's. Go to the nearest dollar store and get your OPK's there. It's just a dollar and it's accurate. I used this dollar kits and it worked out fine for me. Also you do not have to start using the kit starting from 2nd day after your period. If you have a regular menstural cycle pattern like 28 or 30 days or 35 days then it's easy to pinpoint your ovulation day. For ex: let's say you have a 30 day cycle. Then you must start using the kit from day 12. You will ovulate between cycle day 13 - 16. You will start seeing fertile cervical fluid 2 - 4 days before ovulation. Once you start seeing the cervical fluid you should start trying every other day and once you see the LH surge ( 2 similar color lines) on the ovulation kit then you should try everyday until the surge disappears. LH surge indicates that you will ovulate in next 24-36 hours.
If you are having good cervical fluid then you must be ovulating every month. If you want to catch the ovulation day then u must chart your basal body temperature. I know that's lot of work. That's how I confirmed my ovulation.
Get this book Taking charge of your fertility by Toni welcher. This is si really an eye opener. You don't have to see a doctor at all. Based on this book I cross checked my body and understood everything is normal to me. I really love this book.
