hi all... i n my hubby is very much longging for a child for urself.... my hubby used 2 b on official tour often so i wanna track my fertile days using OPK... pl help me where i can buy this OPK in chennai..

Hi friends

I need your replies... i have some questions regarding ovulation test.
am trying to conceive, and brought the clearblue ovulation test.
whenever i do the test it only shows the refrence line ... there is no other blue line ..... my cycle is 26 days....or 28 days....
i have stated doing the test fromt he 9th day... calculating the first day of my period....

i really dont know i am doing it wrongly or something is wrong with me...
this is the first thing i do the morning....
got married 2004 and \i am 29yrs old now...

please help me i really wanna conceive now..i actually went for a pre pregnacy test also and the gyne says everthing is ok.....
then i dont know what is the problem...worried pl help me..

Hi Cute teddy,

I am using ClearBlue Digital ovulation kit and it has 7 tests inside and I also do have a 28 days cycle. I will start testing from the 9th day and it shows the smiley face on the 11th day.


So I am very comfortable on using the digital one. If you feel comfortable you can try with digital one also.

The time you are doing the test might be the problem...The Ovulation Tests are to be conducted anytime after 2.00 PM... I would say do it every day at a fixed time, preferable 2.00 PM.

The morning samples of urine is only good for Early Pregnancy Test and not the Ovulation Tests. The LH Harmone only begins to surge in our body after mid morning.

adding to that you need to know your body as well... as it gives you signs when you are ovulating ... you will have whitish mucus discharge , you feel very wet.... you will feel the urge to have IC especially when you are ovulating.

I have same problem periods go frm 30 to 40days .. my gynec sd very thing is normal... but it was difficulty to track my ovulation days ... so ladies on forum mentioned the signis to check your ovulation.... and it worked for me... They work gr8 and are very cheap as well.

Dear Cute Teddy, Dont feel alone . I am in exactly the same boat as you with regards to marriage. I got married in 2005. We have been trying for past 10 mths now.
buy a 7 day kit avaialble at pharmacy. So use kit from day 10- 17...basically use seven strips or buy a seven day kit. just to check when you may be ovulating. Its recommended to do afternoon at 2 PM. Please follow instrction kit well dear.
Recommended by nurses and books to have intercourse every alternate day during your 28 day cycle. that is to DO it on day 12, 14, 15, 16, Also, relax, dont pressure yurself...and hubby.
