Indian Vegetarian diet for Weight loss and Diabetes.

    Hi,
    I am also having high blood sugar that is my OGCT test came as 220.....i red somewhere that above 200 means dibetes...but my doctor has not asked me any insulin ,he only added metfophin 250 mg twice before food.

    then he tested my blood sugar fasting and after lunch it came as normal.
    I am not overweight and i don't want to lose any weight plus i m in TTC what should be my action plan to keep sugar controlled? any inputs?

    Hi Swati,
    Reduction of carbohydrate based foods, sugar will do the good. Include more fiber rich & protein rich foods, that will take care in the next level!

    u can have water ryt early in the morning before brkfast
    then aftr 1 hr have brkfst den aftr 1 hr have some vegetable juice(keera or carrot or beets)
    meanwhile drink atlst 2 ltrs of water before lunch
    lunch u can have 2 or 3 rotis with lots of curry ,have water aftr 2 hrs from lunch.
    den aftr have green tea or nuts for snacks..
    den have dinner with fruits before 8 as many as u can...
    if u still feel hungry before gng to bed have a glass of milk without sugar....
    and next day the cycle repeats :2thumbsup:Harhar

    Drink plenty of clean water and fresh juices.
