hi,

I am new to IL. I have one doubt regarding intercourse. Actually I am married ofr more than a year. now i am trying to get pregnant. After intercourse the pserm which is inserted into me is not completely going inside. Some of them is left behind and when i am get up slowly it is coming outside. usually i clean myself immediately after the intercourse amnd I am used to it. Now i heared that if you wnat to get pregnant you should not immediately clean yourself after the intercourse. Is it true?. Coz if I am not cleaning I am feeling bit uneasy and whenever i get up or sit or atleast sneeze or cough also some liquid is coming out.

Please help me on this issue.

First, Welcome to IL & to TTC!!!
For ur doubts, one should not clean immediately after intercourse. You should wait atleast half an our more to allow the sperms to enter. Try to lie down with some pillow under for sometime, which helps in sperm moving inside.

I agree,if you are trying to get pregnant,lie down for a half an hour with a pillow underneath.Don't clean immeadiately.But after half an hour still sometimes some of them may come out,that's ok,bcoz many of them would have already gone inside.

dear chitra,
not all sperms make their way inside , and quite a bit will come out. this is perfectly normal!
for conceiving just lie down after intercourse for 20-30 minutes and then rinse yourself off.

few tips from my friend

Hello

i am writing this tips on behalf of my friend

she is unwell...but pregnant

she i believe after sex lied turning to the left side.
Also should not take bath or clean yourself too much after sex
also drink a glass of milk after the intercourse.

Do's and Dont's during TTC or pregnancy

Hi,

We have discussed here and there about the diet during TTC/Pregnancy.. Shall we discuss about how to be careful physically during TTC/ Pregnancy?

I have heard ppl sayin not to sit in bike on 2 sides during TTC, not to sleep sideways, not to lift heave weight n al.. Heavy in the sense upto what level can be considered..??

Cos one of my friend's relative did not even lift the vessel containing half a litre milk saying that it is not good to lift weight during pregnancy.. :rotfl

So please share what all u know.. so that it would be helpful for many like me :bonk

Any suggestion of do's and DONT's?

Hi ladies,

I ve come with an update.. heard that jackfruit should also be avoided during TTC or pregnancy.. This was an advice from an expert doctor...

and during pregnancy, mom-to-be should not travel bu two-wheeler or auto.. Bus is rather safe it seems..

Jack fruit, pine apple & seasame seeds are said to be heaty to body. Hence elders ask to reduce or avoid the intake of them. But i have heard people who took these in moderation till the end of their pregnancy. Anything in modetation is fine with pregnancy!
