query reg archanas

hi friends,

i heard and read a lot abt garbharakshambika temple and abt some poojas (Archanas) for the godess..... i would like to know if it is so costly one or not.... it would be a great help if u wounderful members will reply........

Welcome to the group. The archanas at the temple is not at all costly.
even if u buy the ghee prasad etc..will not cost more than 200rs..
the archana tickets etc..are priced at aorund 10-15rs.i do not remember exactly as i did it before 3 years.
there is a train from bangalore to go to tanjore bangalore-mayiladuthurai exp from there u can either take a taxi or a bus to the temple.

And there is a doubt regarding garbharaksha stotra. is it for getting preg or to protect it....... am confused that it naming as garbharaksha.......... please do reply.....

The archana in the Garbarakshambigai temple costs Rs.111, they give u the ghee prasad, a photo of the godess and a pamphlet containing mantras to chant. hope this helps, if u have any other queries pls let me know.

That stotram can be chanted for both conceiving and during pregnancy for a safe pregnancy and delivery.

first of all i would like to thank u all for ur reply....

am married for 6 yrs but no issues..... we have been trying for one since past 2 yrs.....now docs diagonised i have pcos. since 4 months am in medication for the same. but since last 2 months it is disturbed due to my ill health. am really depressed due to this prob. when i was browsing fand saw this site. after reading all the messages, now i really want to visit the temple........ hoping that the godess will definitely bless us with a heathy kid..... pls do pray for us.

Hi Adithya,

There is no need of advance booking, you can go and do the archana as you arrive there. It takes around 15-20minutes for the archana.
