Creativity and children live together in the same part of your home (according to feng shui) because they share the same energies. Creative people and children are both free to express themselves, no matter what other people may think. And when they are around, fun is always nearby.
So let's get creative about what to place in this part of the house for both free expression and for anything to do with kids (conceiving them, raising them, having better relationships with them). To get started, walk in your front door, turn to the right and walk 1/3 of the way to the back of your home. This is your children and creativity area. For more help locating this zone, refer to our detailed bagua (the road map of your home according to feng shui).
Things to ADD:

Metal: Metal is the element of choice for this area. Metal picture frames are one of the easiest things to use, particularly those with pictures of kids in them. Or use pots and pans if the creativity and children zone in your house is the kitchen. Snoop around -- you'll find something!

White: The color white equals metal in feng shui. Here's where those white apartment walls finally come in handy. White towels in the bathroom or white dishes can do the same thing.
Round Stuff: Look for circles and balls, such as a white metal clock sitting next to the brass bell on the round, mosaic, handmade table with metal legs in the artist's studio. See how things suddenly start to have meaning?
Fun Stuff: If you're having fun, you are that much closer to being creative. So, this part of your home would be a great place to put games, instruments, toys, music collections, art displays or heck, even the TV if that's all you've got.
Hobbies and Crafts: If you want to be more active and creative in your craft activities, try using this part of your house to do them.

Things to REMOVE:

Fire:
Fire melts metal, and it will burn you out in just about any activity. Remove the candle collection from this spot. If you have a fireplace in this part of the home or room, here's the occasion to hang a mirror above it. Mirrors equal water in feng shui, so you would be putting out the fire with the water.

Red: If fire is out, then so are "hot" colors. Reds will snuff out your creativity faster than a hurricane can blow out a match. Triangular or Pointy Objects: Since these shapes represent fire, it's best to leave them out of this space. Eat your bowl of Doritos somewhere else, my friend.
And finally, some quick tips for the ultimate creative act -- trying to get pregnant:
1. Do not sweep around the bed when you want energy to "settle in."
2. Enhance the creativity and children with baby items -- perhaps a silver rattle to get the metal element working for you as well?
3. Place a spiritual or religious object in the bedroom during the time you are trying.
4. Don't hammer nails into the house while trying to conceive.
5. And have fun!
The following Feng Shui tips are meant to help couples who have difficulty conceiving, despite being medically fit in reproductive health.
Poison Arrows afflicting the main door and bed
Look out of your house and check if there’s any poison arrows‘ pointing directly towards your main door. Poison arrows in Feng Shui refers to sharp and pointed structures which inflicts bad chi to the lives of afflicted inhabitants. It can be a sharp angle of a building, edge of a wall, pillars, trees, table corner and such.
Within your bedroom, observe and find poison arrows pointed towards the bed.
If you find any, both external and internal poison arrows must be shielded, reflected or hidden from view.
If you have any doubts with your own ability to recognise or suppress poison arrows, it is best to use a qualified Feng Shui practitioner for peace of mind.
The bedroom and interior decor
Again, take note of poison arrows pointing towards your bed and hide them from view.
If your bedroom is a mess you should probably give it a good spring cleaning now. Clutter weakens the ‘chi‘ in a given area. Since we’re trying to apply Feng Shui to bring about positive ‘chi’ into the bedroom, clean it up until your bedroom feels comfortable and relaxing to be in. Some feng shui practitioners suggest anything under the bed must not be disturb when couples are trying to conceive until the baby is born.
This is important: Position the bed so that your husband’s head is pointed towards his ‘Nien Yen’ direction, which activates his descendant’s luck. To find out your husband’s ‘Nien Yen‘ direction, you should first find out his KUA number. There are a number of feng shui related websites out there that calculates it for you - Smilingbamboo.com for instance, also has a chart of favourite directions for every individual’s KUA number.
[IMG]Enhance fertility luck by having a painting or symbol of pomegranate in your bedroom to bring many healthy offsprings. One of the traits of pomegranate that signifies fertility luck in feng shui is that when peeled open, it reveals a lot of red seeds. In feng shui, the pomegranate symbolizes fertility and suggests descendants’ luck.
Feng shui experts suggest you place five pomegranates on your bed every morning when you get out of bed. 4 of them should be placed on each corners of the bed and the last one, in the middle of the bed. Remove and keep the pomegranates aside when retiring to the bed every night. Repeat daily.
To enhance positive yang energy in the bedroom, hang red paper lanterns on either side of the bed. A dragon symbol on the man’s side on of the bed helps too. Be aware though, do not place figurines of deities or gods in your bedroom. It is regarded as a disrespectful act to the gods.
It is advisable to display animal ornaments, symbols or subjects in a painting in pairs. Pairing symbolizes marital union. A pair of fish or mandarin ducks is a potent symbolization of marital union.
Place a painting of children in the bedroom. The more children in the painting, the merrier. A great example of such symbolic Feng Shui element is the famous ‘100 children‘ embroided screens found in the emperor’s room of the imperial palace of China, the Forbidden City. It symbolizes a great number of descendants for the emperor.
Placing prominent elephant ornaments as part of your bedroom decor or anywhere in the house will help, particularly if you want baby boys.
As for the rest of your house, the sector that governs the luck of descendants and children is the WEST sector. Energise this area with symbols and artifacts mentioned above. One of the best and most favourable item to occupy this area is the ‘Laughing Buddha with Children‘ figurine.
Miscellaneous tips
Planting a couple of fruit trees, the types that bear lots of fruits, are known in fengshui to symbolize fertility and children. Perhaps planting a pomegranate tree? And eat it too? It is also believed that women who eats a serving of pomegranate fruit during the Chinese New Year will be blessed with sons in that particular year. Admittedly, I’m somewhat amused by this [IMG]
If you won’t mind buying something weird for your wife, how does an egg sound? Not a real one of course. Perhaps one made from crystals or stone. It is said to bring fertility luck to couples.

6 Tips for Improving Fertility Feng Shui
Activate The Descendant's Luck Direction
The northwest (NW) is the direction of descendant’s luck. It is also the direction of “heaven” according to feng shui (and aren’t all babies heaven-sent?).
By positioning the man to sleep with his head pointed in the northwest direction, sit at work facing the NW, eat facing the NW, etc., this will activate his descendant’s luck.
It might look odd, if necessary, couples should turn the bed so that the man is sleeping with his head pointing NW. If this makes the man’s head point toward the door or sleep with his back to the door, then try another method.
Another way to activate the descendant’s luck is to install a metal oscillating fan in the bedroom. Placed in the NW corner and turned on during the day, the fan produces a generous helping of descendant’s luck in the bedroom. Be sure to turn it off while sleeping, though, or this luck will be scattered and unable to attach itself to the couple sleeping in the room.

Remove Any Blocks To The Front Door
It worked from Lillian Too, so it might work for you. Be sure that there is an open space out the front door and that there is nothing in direction line with your front door, such as a tree, street, or other object. The front door is considered the “mouth of chi” and is where all energy enters the home. Make this area clean, auspicious, and beautiful.
Enhance The West Sector
The west is the sector associated with the children. For that reason it is best to avoid having fire objects here, such as candles or bright lamps. Earth objects, such as vases are excellent fertility enhancers. Enhance this portion of the house, living, and bedroom with metal objects, such as fans, stereos, or other electronic or metal items.
Lastly, be sure to address problem areas in the west sectors of the home (and the west corner of your bedroom and living room) such as crowded closets or junk rooms. Work at getting these cleaned out to allow new creative (fertility) energy to enter your life.
If there is a bathroom in this sector, make sure bathroom doors are shut and to keep a bright light on in this room.
Observe Proper Bedroom Feng Shui
Bedroom feng shui is extremely important when you are trying to conceive. Beds should never share the same wall as the door, a bathroom, or a kitchen. Televisions, work objects such as computers, mirrors, plants, and exercise equipment should be removed. Rest and romance should be the only activities in this room.
Use Fertility Symbols & Enhancements
Feng shui uses a number of symbols, many of which are thought to enhance fertility. Some of these would include:
Dragons: Placed on the side table of the man’s side of the bed, the dragon can add a little extra “oomph” in the bedroom. Make sure the dragon is small, otherwise, it will create too much “yang” energy in the room and make rest difficult.
Elephants: Place a pair of elephants on either side of the bedroom door. Elephants are associated with pregnancy. Or, place one statue of an elephant in the living room. Placed prominently in the bedroom, elephants are said to produce male children.
Double fish: The double fish is a symbol of marital union. Display this in the southwest corner of your bedroom.
Single piece of hollow bamboo: Place this in the north sector of the bedroom to enhance fertility. These are said to aid conception.
Red paper lanterns: hung on either side of the bed, these are believed to bring excellent yang (creative)energy to the bedroom.
When you are trying to conceive, it's always worth taking a comprehensive approach. Fortunately, feng shui can help you make sure the environment supports your endeavors to bring that new addition to your family.

While the Kwan Yin is known to be the Goddess whom blesses one with a child, the Laughing Buddha is known to be the God whom also fulfill ones wish of having a child. When there are five kids clinging to the Laughing Buddha, it symbolizes fertility for those who touch him. This figurine made from bronze will further amplify the energy of metal that is required to activate descendant's luck in the West corner of your home or your bedroom. His presence will also remove tension among kids in the family and marriage stress due to strong desires for having kids. Each morning, simply touch the figurine for descendants luck! Many people in Hong Kong claimed to have gotten pregnant after touching the Kids Fulfilling Laughing Buddha.

Tip4 : The Feng Shui of Good Fortune Fruit for Fertility

Symbols of good fortune fruit for fertility manifest the positive aspects of descendants' Chi within your living space. In this issue, you will discover how you can use these auspicious fruits to decorate your home and embellish the wonderful energy of descendants' luck. These good fortune fruits may be displayed lavishly, in fruit bowls or as images in paintings or even as carvings. The best part about good fortune fruits is that these are Feng Shui symbols that you can eat.

Pomegranate

The pomegranate is a wonderfully auspicious fruit. An average fruit is slightly bigger than a baseball, it comes in various Yang shades ranging from yellows to reds. When opened up, it reveals plenty of sweet, fleshy seeds. This symbolizes the luck of many offspring, which is why the pomegranate fruit is regarded as a symbol of fertility. It is said to create the kind of descendants' luck that gives you many sons, all filial and respectable, with a successful future ahead of them.

The auspicious pomegranate also symbolizes a happy family that is blessed with good and filial children who will each grow up to bring honor and glory to the family. When a mother eats a pomegranate fruit during the New Year, it is said that she can expect to give birth to sons during the course of the year.

Many Chinese parents advise their young newly-wed second generation to display a painting or a carving of a pomegranate in their bedroom to create the luck of having many healthy children.

Lichee

A Chinese riddle goes like this, "Red cloth wrapped around white cloth, white cloth wrapped around a black globe. What is it?" The answer: the lichee.

The lichee is a deliciously juicy fruit with bright red skin. Similar to a large strawberry in shape and size, the red skin peels away easily to reveal opaque white flesh. A single black seed lies within.

When the lichee is drawn with the longan, it is reputed to signify a marriage union that is blessed with clever descendants. Young married women are encouraged to eat the lichee fruit to create this kind of luck for themselves. Paintings of auspicious fruits should always include the lichee.

Longan

Slightly smaller than a lichee, the longan is a rounded fruit with an olive brown shell. Delightfully thirst-quenching, its opaque flesh is sweet and juicy. The longan also has a single black seed. The Chinese (Cantonese) characters for longan can be literally translated to mean dragon's eyes.

When depicted with the lichee, the longan is reputed to signify a successful and fruitful union that is blessed with many bright children. For this reason, young married women are advised to eat the longan fruit to enhance their own fertility luck.

Lotus Seeds (Lin Chee)

Similar in size and appearance to large peanuts, the lotus seed signifies auspicious offspring luck. It is always featured in the dishes of a Chinese wedding dinner, especially in the dessert or sweetmeats.

Lin Chee or the seed of the lotus is an excellent symbol of descendants' luck. Consuming and displaying lotus seeds in the home is said to enhance and speed up the arrival of grandchildren.

Water Chestnuts

Approximately the size of a ping-pong ball, water chestnuts have a thin black skin. The water chestnut is a rounded flattish bulb rather than a fruit. Its sweet white flesh is firm to the touch and crisp to the bite. According to Feng Shui principles, it is auspicious to hang a painting of good fortune fruits in the dining room. So when water chestnuts are displayed together with the lichee, they denote clever children in the family.

Make liberal use of all these good fortune fruits to energize the Chi of good descendants' luck. You will soon discover the potency of the Feng Shui of good fortune fruit for fertility. The most enjoyable part is, of course, eating your tasty Feng Shui symbols. Have fun with your edible Feng Shui for fertility!

Creativity and children live together in the same part of your home (according to feng shui) because they share the same energies. Creative people and children are both free to express themselves, no matter what other people may think. And when they are around, fun is always nearby.

Things to REMOVE:

And finally, some quick tips for the ultimate creative act -- trying to get pregnant:
1.
Do not sweep around the bed when you want energy to "settle in."
Enhance the creativity and children with baby items -- perhaps a silver rattle to get the metal element working for you as well?
Place a spiritual or religious object in the bedroom during the time you are trying.
Don't hammer nails into the house while trying to conceive.
