    Hi Ladies,
I need your opinion about IVF or surrogacy in Dallas area. Coming to my case 2 years back i had tubal pregnancy because of which they removed my right side tube and ovary. Later i have undergone mutiple tests after which doctor told my other fallopian tube is blocked. I dont have an option to have natural preganancy so i need to either go for IVF or surrogacy. I came to US after going through all this pain.

Can someone tell me which is best and affordable fertility centre in Dallas area for IVF or surrogacy. I heard it is very costly and we cannot afford here. If that is the case where can i get best fertility centre with affordable price.

Thanks i advance for your help.

    Regards,
    VR

Hi op, some insurances cover full for IVF. Mine covers for 3 full cycles of IVF. Please talk to ur health insurance company.

coming to surrogacy each state has its own laws about this. In Some states it is illegal to get into a money based contracts with a surrogate mother. Also In US I think it would be difficult to get a surrogate. Whereas in India it is easy to get a surrogate as some doctors give contacts of agencies.
Still u need to think how u will take baby to US who born to a surrogate in India. It depends on ur visa status, for US citizens it is some what easy. If u r considering a surrogate in India, please talk to usa immigration lawyers.

i would suggest to go and meet a gynic first in ur areA and explain ur case fully they will direct u to IVF centers, if not u ask them to give their contacts. Talk to ur health insurance , if it is not full covering , move to high end type with the same insurance company. Before u even consider for a surrogate please try few IVF cycles , lot of people get success with it. In usa they deal with patient very nice and careful.
    All the best!

I am sorry, I don't know anything about Dallas area. But u can go to primary health care provider in Dallas close to ur place. (, like family doctor who are general physician in India ), from there also u can get contacts of gynecologist. . Or talk to ur insurance company, they will guide u from where to start. Please talk all ur questions to them , no need to hesitate, they r there to help us one and will be happy to do.

Let us see if anybody from Dallas post some details here.

Why don't you investigate freezing your husband's sperm and taking it to India and doing there? Come back when you are pregnant.

If your uterus is normal, then you should be able to do IVF. Did they tell you that a surrogate was needed for a specific reason? Usually a gestational carrier is used only when the woman is physically incapable of carrying a pregnancy, but you would still need to go through IVF to create your own embryos.
You may be able to get some insurance coverage for IVF, talk to your company.
Depending on your age and other criteria, many IVF clinics offer a 'shared risk' program where you pay a flat fee for a certain number of cycles. You get your money back if there is no baby. So even without insurance you may have options.
Several places also offer multi-cycle discounts and packages.
Laws for surrogacy vary by state in the US. The IVF clinics usually partner with an agency, or you can hire your own lawyers.
It is not difficult to find a surrogate in the US if you go through an agency. However it can take quite a long time, and a gestational carrier in the US is very expensive, anywhere from $50,000-$100,000 all out of pocket. Unless there is a compelling reason, no doctor will advise this as a first step.
In your shoes, I would first go to a reproductive endocrinologist and get all your options looked at.
I don't know about Dallas, but the RESOLVE infertility forums are a great source of information.

    Hello OP,

I can understand your situation ..i have gone through your pain.I would say search for a good Reproductive Endocrinology /Infertility Specialist in your area and go through the HSG test again to make sure about the blockage, this test is usually covered with your insurance . Even with just one ovary you can still try for IVF ,Freeze the embryos and try for Frozen embryo transfer.Discuss with the doctor what are the chances of retrieving eggs from your other Ovary and the egg quality.
If you have good Uterine lining thickness there are high chances of success with IVF. When you go with IVF all you need is good uterine lining and a healthy uterus with good Embryos. Tubes are out of the game at that point. Good Luck!
