    Hi ILs,

I have been diagnosed with PCOS in bilateral ovaries. So I have decided to take a 90 days challenge to defeat PCOS. I have the following plan in mind and would like to get some buddies to execute the same.

    1. Getting up by 5 am , after brushing having 500 ml of plain hot water
    2. 5:15 to 5:45 Prayer
3 5:45 to 6:00 Preparing the dough to make chappathi
    4 6:00 to 7:00 Exercise
5 7 to 8 Preparing lunch and Break fast
    6 8 - 8: 15 Breakfast ( Chappathi with dhal and 2 Egg whites)
    7 8:30 -- Medicines ( If any)
8 10:00 Big bowl of vegetables and fruits
    12:30 Lunch ( Chappathi/Brown Rice with dhal , sabji )
    3:30 -- Pomegranate and some almonds/walnuts

Once I am back from office in the evening
6 PM to 7 PM Aerobics
    7:30 Oats / Raghi Kanji
    8:00 Medicines ( If Any)
    9:00 to 9:30 Prayer
    9:30 to 10:00 Relaxation time

I am planning to follow this routine, It would be of great help if some one could join and we can execute the plan from tommorow.

Our ultimate goal should be 2 Hrs Exercise a day, Glutten free food, Taking the medicines suggested by our doc religiously and eating protien rich foods, drinking atleast 3 to 4 litres of water, a BIG NO to JUNK FOOD AND SWEETS

    Thanks
    Preethi

    Hi Divya,
I am so happy to see your post. I got married a year back and I am 28 now. I have put on so much weight and feeling so lazy to get up :). But since now you have also joined with me in this journey of defeating PCOS. I believe that we will be able to surely defeat PCOS.

Can we start from tommorow and follow this religiously for atleast 90 days.
I read that pomegranate is good for fertility and also heard that garlic is good in reducing bad cholestrol and also improves fertility.

I will buy fruits and vegetables today evening. I will go for walk for an hour today evening

    Cheers
    Preethi

Hey.. good to hear that.. We'll definitely start the regime tomorrow...

Cheers to you for walking for an hour today..:2thumbsup:

Garlic is good.. only if boiled or raw.. fried garlic is bad of health..

Also eat red banana both of you.. really good for fertility...

I also fast once in a week.. drinking only 3 cups(Morning-Noon-Night) of milk with sugar and lots of water.

Helps to detoxify bad elements from the body..

Best of Luck to both of us..

    Divya

    Hi Divya,
Thanks for the tips. I am using tava to roast garlic a bit. But I will start having raw or boiled ones.

We will have red bananas as well.. As u said fasting surely helps to remove toxins.
Surely will follow your tips :).

    Thanks

    Hey Preethi..

    Good Morning..

    Super..... :clap

I had coffee sans sugar + 3 idly with tomato chutney...

For lunch I packed raggi kanji with buttermilk and same chutney. 1 apple for snack in the morning and 1 tubba sprouts salad for snack in the evening...

That being said I came over an article that says drinking water losses weight faster.. Before having any meal or snack have 2 glasses of water and then have the meal.
This makes us feeling full eventhough we had small quantity of food..

We are supposed to drink water upto 4 litres. And drinking lukewarm water always burns fat and calories more than the room temperature water. In Bangalore it will be cold now.. ;-)
Thought will share this with you..

    Divya..

    Hey divya,
    Good Mrng hugsmiley

Yeah I too have read that drinking hot water helps in weight loss. As u said surely will consume 4 ltrs of water :thumbsup

Can you please tell me the recipe of Ragi kanji that you take it for lunch.

Is it necessary to have buttermilk with Ragi kanji??

I usually prepare ragi kanji by just mixing 3 spoons of powder with 200 ml water and bring it to boil.

I will also include sprouts for snacks from 2moro yumsmiley

Can we add lemon , chat masala to the sprout salad??

    Cheers
    Pree :)

    Hey..

Ragi Kanji tastes better with buttermilk and salt. That why i add it..

I do the same Ragi powder with water and boil it till ragi is cooked. Then add 2 tsp of curd + 1.5 tumbler of water. It taste good. yumsmiley

We can add rasam also to it for a different version.

Adding lemon and chat masala is another version I love..

Dieting doesn't mean bland or boring food. We can have tasty food with less oil and carbs... How interesting we make it depends upon us...

Oil is required for the body.. Deep fried food is not...So for tempering I use 1 tsp gingelly oil for Sambar.. 2 tsp oil for salad..

    Best
    Divya
