Oh $1200-$1800 per cycle is really less affordable for me :(, probably i need to talk about this to the doc and ask them if they have any package, as you said. This is a Fertility center, so am assuming and hoping they do have some deal. Thank you again @sansan

    Keerthi88,
IUI will cost in the range of $1000-$3000 depending on whether you need just medicines or injections. Injections cost more as fertility drugs are very expensive.
I don't want to scare you, but a single round of standard IVF (including medications) can cost anywhere from $12000 to $17000. Many clinics will offer package deals to make it more affordable, but the reality is that this is a very expensive process. Insurance plans generally don't cover this as it is not considered a medical necessity. Even if there is coverage it is often restricted to a few attemtpts.
Many people save or take out loans in order to afford this.
I do not know much about the Obamacare plans. Visit the website and see if something is suitable.
    Wish you all the best.

    Hi OP

Have you consulted with a fertility specialist, a reproductive endocrinologist, specifically? I have/had PCOS and was insulin resistant as well. I consulted with a RE and he suggested me to get on Metformin, a pill to control insulin first and try for a couple of months, before thinking of more invasive procedures like IUI or IVF. Metformin helped me with both my pregnancies... And of course, also making some healthy choices like a diet plan and some exercising helped with the PCOS. I now have a 4 Yr old girl and another girl who arrived on Christmas Day.

I have just finished the first visit to the RE @peartree , i am not sure yet what is in store through the course of treatment. Just getting to know every information possible, so it can be a lot more easier. Congrats on your little one's arrival :)
